Hello and a very warm welcome to the home of CB Education.

My name is Charlie and I have been teaching and tutoring for fifteen years across the primary age range and in SEN. Across a range of primary schools, FE colleges and in home settings. I set up this tutoring company in order to help children thrive academically and emotionally. 

Set in Chandler's Ford, Hampshire, and set in a nurturing and comforting wood cabin, I offer Phonics, English and Maths tutoring at a primary aged level. (Yr to Y6) I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and my goal is for them to have a strong foundation in these core subjects.

Whether your child needs extra support with reading, writing or numeracy I create fun and dynamic sessions designed to boost confidence, enhance skills and foster a love of learning.

Why small group tutoring?

Small group tutoring offers a dynamic learning environment where students can benefit from peer interaction and support. It encourages collaboration, communication and the sharing of ideas which helps deepen understanding. Working  alongside others also promotes a sense of community which can help to ease the shame which some children feel as a result of needing additional support. With a 'we're all in this together' approach, children's motivation can soar.  With personalised attention in small groups, children can grow both academically and socially, building confidence whilst developing key skills.
